If you want to make changes or update the information regarding an event, do so on the event page. Participants always have access to the event page via invitation and via confirmation upon registration. There they can see the latest updated information.
If you want to draw the participant's attention to the fact that you have updated the information, you can, in connection with making changes, send a message to the participants in which you directly link to the event page.Follow the instructions here to see how to send a message to the participants.
What you should keep in mind if you are sending a message in connection with changes on the event page is to check Include buttons with links and Show: <Open Event Site> as shown below.
After the announcement, participants can then click on a button that takes them directly to the event page where they can take part in the new information.
