In a regular invitation you send to your participants, each participant in your list receives a personal registration link that they can go in and register for via their e-mail or as SMS. If you would rather send out an open registration link, follow the steps below.
- Click on Participants
- Click on Invitation and then Event site
- Click on Generate event site link
- Click on Share event site publicly and then click on Save.
- Done! Now you have a link that you can share.
Invitation or open link?
The invitation is useful if you know the specific people you want to invite and want to have a bit more control over who signs up for your event. The invitation sent via the platform is personal and can only be used by one person.
An open invitation link is good if you want as many people as possible to register for your event. The link is not personal and can therefore be shared between colleagues. For example, you can post the open link on your intranet for all employees to register, so you don't have to look up everyone's email address.
Remember to use only letters a-z and numbers 0-9 in the link name so that it only contains characters that browsers recognize. When the participants click on the link, they will then come to your Event page and your Registration form.
