This article is created for you as a supplier in Event Logic:
When a booking is made through Event Logic, you do not need to send a confirmation to the customer. When the customer books through us, it is binding according to the terms you specify when you send the quote, so an additional confirmation is not necessary and reduces the risk of confusion for the customer.
If you want to update the booking terms, you can do so in two different ways:
Update via the quote
When you respond to a quote, you have the opportunity to insert your own terms. Follow these steps:
- Go down to point 2, Terms, in the quote.
- Click on View / Edit Terms and then Edit Terms.
- Make the desired changes to the terms, either by typing text in the existing terms or by pasting in your own terms.
If you want to use the terms for the current request as well as all future requests, check Use for all future requests and then click Save & Close.
If you only want to use the terms for the specific quote, check Use only for this request and then click Save & Close.
Update via settings
You have the option to insert your terms even if you do not have an unanswered request. Follow these steps:
- Click on the profile icon at the top right corner and then select Presentation.
- Click on the Company Info tab.
- Click on Booking Terms and then Custom Terms.
- Click on Edit Terms.
- Make the desired changes to the terms, either by typing text in the existing terms or by pasting in your own terms.
Here, you can also set a standard value regarding the chargeable period for changes/cancellations.
Select the terms you want to have as default, either Standard Terms or Special Terms.
- Click on Update.
When the customer makes a booking, you will receive an email notification, and through Event Logic, you confirm that you have noted the booking.
