You can fill in a maximum number of participants who can register for your event in the settings for your invitation. The settings can be found under Participants in the navigation menu, under the tab Settings.
First, fill in the number under Set maximum number of participants. Then press Save. You will receive an email when the event is full and you can choose which participants will receive the available seats.
Participants who try to register after your event is full will be placed on a waiting list and given the status Waiting list. These participants get a pop-up when they enter the registration page with information that the event is currently full, but that they can register to end up on the waiting list.
If there are spots left, you will receive an email about this. Mark those who will get the spots (you can see who last registered during participant activity) and change their status to Attending. A confirmation email will then be sent out to them that they have registered for the event.
